Real Name: Emma Stone
Birthday:

Biography And Filmography:

Emma Stone was born in Scottsdale, Arizona, to Jeff and Krista, and has one younger brother, Spencer. While growing up in Scottsdale, she attended the Valley Youth Theater, and made her stage debut in "Wind in the Willows" at age eleven. Along with being home schooled, she attended Sequoya Elementary School and then Cocopah Middle School, before enrolling in Xavier College Preparatory, an all-girl Catholic high school. Upon graduation, she relocated to Los Angeles California  in hopes of starting a successful show business career.

The first official job for Stone was the role of Laurie Partridge in the television movie "The New Partridge Family (2005), a VH1 update of the classic show about a family band. The actress then made several guest appearances on TV shows including "Medium" with Patricia Arquette, "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody", "Malcolm in the Middle" and "Lucky Louie". Emma then got a big career boost with a seven episode starring role as Violet Trimble in the mystery thriller television series "Drive" (2007), a drama about various people competing in an illegal cross-country road race. Although the show was quickly cancelled, critics noted Stone's ability to carry the series and Hollywood came knocking on her door.

Her big Hollywood break came in the role of Jules in the Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg smash hit summer movie "Superbad" (2007), starring Jonah Hill, Michael Cera and Bill Hader. The film told the story of Seth, Evan and Fogell, who are three teenage boys who love to drink and desperately want to get laid. When a girl that Seth really likes asks him to get the alcohol for a party, he sees this as a perfect opportunity to make her his girlfriend. The three boys plan out how to get the alcohol, but things don't go as planned. "Superbad" was the runaway smash hit of the year and was nominated for an MTV Move Award and Teen Choice Award.

The young actress had arrived in Hollywood, and audiences wanted to see more of the talented star. They got their wish the following year when she starred as Amelia in the comedy "The Rocker" (2008), also starring Rainn Wilson and Christina Applegate. "The Rocker" tells the story of a failed drummer who is given a second chance at fame. Robert "Fish" Fishman (Rainn Wilson) is the extremely dedicated and astoundingly passionate drummer for the eighties hair band "Vesuvius", who is living the rock n' roll dream until he is kicked out of the band. Twenty years after his rock star fantasies are smashed, just when Fish has finally given up all hope, he hears that his nephew's high school rock band "A.D.D." is looking for a new drummer. They reluctantly make him the newest member of the band, giving him a chance to reclaim the rock God throne he's always thought he deserved, and taking the young band along for the ride of their lives.

That same year, she was hired and cast as Natalie in the comedy "The House Bunny" (2008), starring Anna Faris, Rumer Willis and Colin Hanks. The film tells the funny story of Shelly, a Playboy bunny, who is thrown out of the Playboy mansion and has nowhere to go until she falls in with the sorority girls from Zeta Alpha Zeta. The members of the sorority - who are the seven most socially clueless women on the planet - are about to lose their sorority house. They need a dose of what only the eternally bubbly Shelley can provide, and they each learn on their own to stop pretending to be what others want them to be and start being themselves. The film was a summer success both at the box office and for Emma Stone. Her Hollywood career was off to a great start.

Stone then got the break-out role that every actress dreams about with her starring portrayal of "The Ghost of Girlfriends Past" (2009), in the Mark Waters romantic comedy with Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Garner, Michael Douglas, about a bachelor who is haunted by the ghosts of his past girlfriends at his younger brother's wedding.
